Summary
We are seeking an HVAC Supervisor to join our team at Florida Mechanical Services LLC. In this role, you will oversee HVAC operations and ensure that all systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the safety and comfort of our work environment.
Responsibilities
•Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and technician supervision
•Ensure timely, high-quality service delivery to commercial and industrial clients
•Evaluate technician performance, provide coaching, and support training initiatives
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and contract renewals
•Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations professionally and promptly
•Estimate and quote repair work or small projects based on technician assessments
•Track and analyze service KPIs such as first-time fix rate, response time, and customer satisfaction
•Collaborate with sales and project teams to identify service opportunities and upsell maintenance contracts
•Ensure compliance with all safety standards, OSHA regulations, and internal policies
•Maintain accurate documentation and ensure that all service work orders, timesheets, and reports are properly completed
•Manage department budget, inventory, tools, and fleet to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
•Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies for field technicians
Requirements
•High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training in HVAC or mechanical systems preferred
•Minimum 5 years of HVAC field experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
•Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, RTUs, pumps, VFDs, and control systems
•EPA Universal Certification required; NATE or equivalent certifications preferred
•Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
•Proficient with service dispatching software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital reporting tools
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
•OSHA 10 or 30 certification Required
•Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and on-call duties as needed
