Service Manager
to support the growth of our fantastic Service Department across the St. Louis area! The Service Manager provides leadership, innovative approaches, and a passion for people and results in the Service Department. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in the HVAC industry. The person in this role demonstrates thoughtful strategy in developing operational success and profitability. They are responsible for driving customer satisfaction, growth goals, and revenue. This person will be instrumental in identifying strategies of growth within departments through analysis, market trends, and customer feedback.
Responsibilities
•Oversees and Manages Service Technicians
•Oversees Technician safety
•Review financial reports, monthly bonuses, and labor rates for Service Department
•Report to Operations Manager on a regular basis
•Maintain operational statistics to include calls, daily sales, technician tracking, vehicle maintenance, etc.
•Drive team to meet or exceed goals
•Oversee people operations including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and terminations
•Ensure that employees are completing required certifications
•Evaluate processes and engage in continuous improvement for Service Department operations, processes, and customer relationships
•Engaged with customer complaints and resolve issues as they arise
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
•5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
•Minimum of three 3 years management experience required
•Proven track record of Department accountability as well as success in sales/operations, training/development, and customer service
•Service Titan experience desired
•Ability to create, modify, and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel
•Knowledge of general business operations, principles, concepts, and best practices
•Leadership and management skills, including staffing, delegation, coaching, and performance management
•Project and process management skills
•Organizational and time management
•Written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentations
•Knowledge and skill to summarize and interpret data and draw conclusions
