Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service / Maintenance Technician to join our team in Honolulu, HI. The ideal candidate has no less than 5 years of hands-on experience with ductless split and ducted HVAC systems. You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, with a focus on Mitsubishi and Daikin equipment. Responsibilities:
•
Inspect, maintain, and repair ductless split and ducted HVAC systems.
•
Perform routine service tasks including cleaning coils and blowers, inspecting belts and motors, and ensuring proper refrigerant levels.
•
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems.
•
Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, switches, wiring, thermostats, and fans.
•
Calibrate and adjust thermostats and control systems.
•
Ensure ventilation systems operate efficiently and continuously.
•
Document maintenance and repair work performed, and communicate with the team as needed.
•
Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
•
Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing and maintaining ductless split and ducted HVAC systems
•
Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures
•
Comfortable working in various conditions: confined spaces, rooftops, attics, and outdoors in variable weather
•
Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments (bending, kneeling, standing for long periods)
•
High school diploma or GED required
•
EPA Certification preferred
•
Experience with Mitsubishi and Daikin systems is highly desirable
Compensation: $30-$38 /hr DOE
