HV Field Electrician 1

We're looking for a HV Electrician 1 in Bakersfield, CA- a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you'll do:

- You'll be based out of our Bakersfield, CA service center.

- Respond to major component failure escalations.

- Carry out major component changes and field repairs.

- Carry out advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems.

- Ensure the completion of major repairs are on time.

- Travel position requiring 65% or more away from home traveling.

- Ability to travel domestically and internationally and have a current passport.

- Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC card.

- HASC or chemical plants certification a plus.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.

- 5 years of high and/or medium voltage experience.

- Experience with refineries/government site protocols and requirement to enter and perform work.

- Experience with HV test equipment.

- Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
