Black Gold Energy Service, LLC is seeking a dedicated and professional HSE Coordinator to oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) matters for assigned District area. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, managing personnel safety training, maintaining company assets, and overseeing operational budgets. The HSE Coordinator will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service to meet customer expectations for quality, performance, and safety.
- Oversee and manage area-specific HSE programs, aligning with corporate HSE and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Support compliance with ISNetworld, DOT regulations, drug testing, claims risk management, licensing, certifications, and HSE training requirements.
- Act as a liaison for liability insurance, risk management, and workers' compensation programs.
- Coordinate and document area HSE meetings in accordance with company safety policies.
- Maintain and update safety policies to align with ISNetworld and other customer safety platforms as required.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of employee records at all times.
- Prepare and format reports, spreadsheets, business letters, and internal memos for the HSE and Transportation group.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, costs, and outcomes related to HSE initiatives.
- Coordinate personnel HSE performance both on and off job sites, including incident reporting, training, and employee relations.
- Manage expenses, purchase orders, asset management, and vehicle mileage tracking.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Maintain vendor relationships, including supply and inventory management for HSE needs.
- Demonstrate consistent reliability, accuracy, and high-quality work output.
- Ability to commute daily to assigned work locations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in a related discipline.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in HSE operations, policies, regulations, and programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively engage with employees and management.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel relations and leadership.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Consistent reliability, accuracy, and commitment to quality work.
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and possess a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of industry-related equipment, functions, and safety requirements.
- Previous experience in HSE operations and management.
- Strong team player with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly and make sound decisions as needed.
- Willingness to work overtime when required to meet workload demands.
