The HRIS Administrator will participate in configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our HR systems to ensure data integrity, streamline HR processes, and support strategic decision-making. HR systems include, but are not limited to, the HRIS (Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and Learning Management System (LMS). Responsibilities include partnering with other departments on issue management, ad-hoc reporting, and technical support. The HRIS Administrator will actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for enhanced user experiences, automations, and related process improvements. The HRIS Administrator will report to the Manager of HRIS.
- Execute on HRIS project objectives, system testing, and configurations
- Manage system upgrades and user access
- Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries, issue tracking, and technical support across multiple platforms
- Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, and procedures
- Develop and generate standard and ad-hoc reports for various departments and business leaders
- Collaborate both independently and with cross-functional teams on system issues, enhancements, and queries
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and system checks
- Train end-users on UltiPro/WFM functionality and best practices
- Perform or assist with other duties and projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, or related discipline is preferred
- 2 to 5 years of experience working with HRIS platforms (UltiPro experience is highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of HR processes including payroll, benefits, timekeeping, recruiting, on-boarding, recruitment, training, and employee lifecycles
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (UKG People Analytics desired
- Intermediate Excel knowledge in Pivot Tables, formulas, and functions
- Strong problem solving/analytical skills with diligence and a high level of accuracy
- Effective communication skills with project teams, employees, and vendors
- This role requires regular in-person collaboration with team members at our Chicago Support Center.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. with little assistance
- Must be able to work in restrictive spaces and maintain concentration in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels
- Must manage several tasks at one time and handle frequent interruptions to meet the needs and requests of customers
