Housekeeping/Common Area Cleaning Attendant

International Residence Hall is the Nation’s most experienced operator of Employee Housing for BridgeUSA J1 Work Travel Students. We provide a comfortable, safe, and welcoming home-away-from-home to people from at least 30 different countries and we have served local employers large and small.

Resident Host Housekeeper/Common Area Housekeeping

We are adding a full time, year round, housekeeper to our team. You will be responsible for cleaning kitchens, public restrooms, common areas, disposing of trash, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness. 30 - 40 hours/week. Fairly flexible scheduling. We are happy to work around school bus hours!

Housekeeper Responsibilities:

· Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.

· Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

· Clean and stock restrooms.

· Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.

· Notify managers of necessary repairs.

· Collect and dispose of trash.

· Assist guests when necessary.

· Keep linen room stocked.

· Properly clean upholstered furniture.

Housekeeper Requirements:

· Ability to manage your time efficiently.

· Previous experience cleaning is a plus.

· Work well unsupervised.

· Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.

· Handle basic maintenance and cleaning. Clean rooms after residents depart.

· High school diploma.

· Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.

· Hard worker.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
