Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in our hotel. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, reflecting our commitment to high standards of service and hospitality.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

- Ensure all bathrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.

- Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.

- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

- Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.

- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitization to ensure guest safety.

- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality service.

- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- A background in hospitality or customer service is beneficial.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
