Summary

Machado Construction Co. Inc., is a family owned and operated business located in Halethorpe, MD. We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team. 5+ years of related experience is required.

Duties

· Diagnose all equipment.

· Perform routine oil changes on trucks and heavy equipment

· Perform routine transmission maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment.

· Perform routine maintenance on all equipment, including but not limited to- brakes alignments, suspension work, cooling/heating, electrical systems, etc.

· Perform tire maintenance and replacements if needed.

· Install and maintain all equipment’s batteries, shock absorbers, and exhaust systems.

· Perform routine road tests on all equipment.

Requirements

· Must have a valid driver's license.

· Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

· Must be punctual and have good time management skills.

· Must be able to abide by all safety protocols and procedures.

· Must be able to understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time, including walking, standing, squatting, etc.

· Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and 50 lbs. overhead with no issue.

· Flexible attitude engaged in team goals.

· Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather.

· Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels.

Education and/or Experience

Schedule

· Monday-Friday

· 8+ hour shifts

· 40+ hours weekly
