Heavy Duty Mechanic

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy-duty mining equipment in an underground environment. You will work as part of a team to ensure equipment is running smoothly and safely. Your expertise will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity.

Duties:

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty mining equipment, including scoops, trucks, drills, and other underground machinery.

- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.

- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend effective solutions..

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

- Trade Qualification as HD Mechanic Technician

- Must provide a clean criminal record check

- 4+ Years underground experience is preferred

- Previous FIFO experience

- Valid Drivers License

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

- Fluent in written and spoken English

- Alternating day and night shifts
