Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic

Responsibilities

- Install and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial spaces

- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Troubleshoot HVAC issues effectively to provide timely solutions

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing installations and repairs

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements/Certifications

- Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic or similar role; recent HVAC service and installation experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless heat pumps, air conditioners and water heaters including tankless systems

- Proficient with HVAC equipment servicing requirements, installation and commissioning (required)

- Mechanical aptitude (required) with plumbing and electrical knowledge (an asset)

- Comfortable with ventilation systems, forced air guidelines (an asset)

- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and installation (an asset)

- Ability to perform maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently

- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Comfortable with in person client communication and strength in quality focused customer service

- Gas Fitter License (preferred)

- Valid BC Driver's License with a clean record

- Clear criminal record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
