Head of Finance and Commercial

Flexible Location - National role (can be based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, or Christchurch)

The Head of Finance and Commercial position is at the forefront of delivering Edison’s strategy. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an authentic, energetic, innovative and engaging senior leader to be part of a thriving business that is contributing to NZ’s renewable energy development and carbon-neutral targets.

Reporting and working closely with the Chief Executive and Board, and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading Edison’s financial and commercial management, as well as business systems and support functions. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, provide strategic guidance and advice to managers, and drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.

This role offers a senior leadership opportunity within a successful and growing NZ business, comprised of a diverse team of professional and highly capable engineers (approx. 85), led by an experienced and dedicated Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team.

You Will Have

- A continuous improvement approach to using and enhancing systems.

- The ability to build and grow strong relationships.

- Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.

- Relevant tertiary qualification.
