Position Summary:
Swank Construction Company, LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as an Operator/CDL Driver for our Grooving and Grinding Division. The primary purpose of the Operator/CDL Driver position is to perform a wide variety of general operator/labor/CDL driver tasks to reach project goals and as directed by the position's supervisor.
Essential FunctionsResponsibilities:

•CDL License with a Tanker endorsement required.
•Ability to pass pre-employment drug screensbackground checks, including MVR.
•Must uphold Company safety and OSHA standards and guidelines.
•Mechanical aptitude preferred.
•Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
•Willingness to learn all aspects of the job.
•Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
•Must be available to work different shifts (day/nights/weekends).
•Perform all other tasks as assigned.
Physical DemandsWork Environment:

•Will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items and materials in excess of 50 lbs.
•Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods or when needed. In excess of 4 hours.
•Ability to effectively communicate in, and understand, English.
•Required to utilize personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety glassesboots) at appropriate times.

•Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends).
•Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
Education/Certification(s)/License(s):
•High school diploma or equivalent - Preferred.
•CDL A Driver's License- Required
KnowledgeExperience:
•Prior experience as an Operator or equivalent experience - Preferred.
•Mechanical aptitude - Preferred.
Other Requirements:
•Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
•Ability to pass pre-employment drug screensbackground check, including MVR.
•Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
