We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver with a CDL classified license to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including flatbed, tanker, and tractor-trailer vehicles, to deliver goods efficiently and on time. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.
Responsibilities
•
Operate commercial vehicles including flatbed trucks, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
•
Execute route driving to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
•
Load and unload cargo securely while adhering to safety protocols.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
•
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
•
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes and delivery schedules.
•
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
•
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Skills
•
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
•
Proficiency in operating various truck types such as flatbed, tanker, tractor-trailer, and roll-off trucks.
•
Strong route navigation skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
•
Excellent load management skills ensuring safe transport of goods.
•
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
•
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols.
•
Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
