Position Summary: The purpose of the CDL Driver is to operate large company vehicles, which include slurry tankers, tractor trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, tri-axels, and other company CDL vehicles to and on various company construction sites, while doing so in a safe and efficient manner. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Successful candidates will be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to operate a slurry tanker and a tractor trailer to, from, and on different job sites. Keep tanker and tractor trailer maintained and clean. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly. May assist with loading and unloading materials on construction sites, following safe practices and using appropriate equipment when necessary. Caring for company machines/vehicles/equipment/tools. Keep working sites clean of all unused/waste materials and ensure all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Following instructions from supervisors. Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisor. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the CDL Driver position. Education/Certification(s)/License(s): High school diploma or equivalent- Preferred. Valid CDL, Class A
