As the
Global Head of Procurement – Digitalization & Controlsacross our New Apparatus, Service, and Nuclear product lines, you’ll report directly to the Head of Procurement! This position is pivotal and provides excellent insight to Executive Management. You will lead the “Global Support” team, offering strategic insight and operational influence across a ground breaking, international business!
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead & Develop a Global-Team: You’ll inspire and mentor an international team of ~10 professionals, bringing together diverse skills and perspectives. - Drive Procurement Excellence Across Regions: You’ll support bids and project execution from headquarters to six regions—spanning 20+ countries—working closely with local procurement and bid teams to fuel business growth and deliver on our ‘Contribution to Growth’ (CTG) goals.
- Accelerate Cost & Margin Initiatives: By partnering with local buyers, commodity managers, and engineering teams, you’ll spearhead key negotiations and optimize global Frame Agreements—ensuring we hit our ‘Contribution to Net Income’ (CNI) targets.
- Champion Supply Chain Resilience: You’ll monitor and mitigate risks across the CD&NUC supply chain, collaborating with customers from procurement to engineering to safeguard seamless operations.
- Elevate Supplier Partnerships & Quality: You’ll lead our global Supplier Engagement and Quality Management programs, ensuring flawless execution and continuous improvement from strategic suppliers worldwide.
- Lead Strategic Initiatives: You’ll identify and drive projects that strengthen procurement, improve supplier performance, elevate operational efficiency, and support our growth and margin priorities.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience in senior procurement roles, with both strategic and operational depth.
- Proven leadership with 5+ years managing teams—especially across diverse, global contexts.- Strong commercial and contract negotiation capabilities, spanning complex services and solutions.
- A practical grasp of contract law, applied within procurement.
- Experience with Electrical, Automation, or Controls suppliers—a bonus.
- Sharp analytical skills: you pull together data, extract insights, and make impactful decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication across cultures and levels.
- A track record of delivering results through collaboration in complex, matrixed environments.
- The role will require 20%-30% both domestic and International
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas ServicesOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
