FLSA Status: Hourly – Non-Exempt
The duties and responsibilities of the Procurement department at STAT are crucial to the company's adherence to efficient procurement of materials, inventory control, and vendor coordination in support of operational productivity and profitability. Therefore, Procurement is expected to perform the following:
Essential Functions per Policies & Procedures:
•Purchase supply of products/materials
•Determine the lowest cost for products/materials
•Distribute and process returns of job materials
•Receive orders and document arrivals
•Manage and analyze supply base
•Source and interview vendors; negotiating costs
•Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
•Communicate performance and costs to management
•Recommend and implement improvements to procurement systems and processes
•Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
•Assist in field/shop equipment maintenance disposition
•Operate equipment and follow safety procedures
•Comply with scorecard measurement system to track values
•Maintain inventory of field supplies, saleable equipment, and surplus materials
•Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals
•Maintain housekeeping of designated areas (office, receiving, storage, staging, and distribution)
•Participate in weekly control room collaboration meetings
•Report to work on time in uniform and required PPE
•Follow and enforce all STAT policies and procedures
Marginal Functions:
•May approve invoices for payment
•May expedite delivery of goods to end users
•Assist in inside sales of equipment and supplies
•Assist in asset management as directed
•May operate company vehicles and equipment
•Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Goals:
•Procure materials expeditiously
•Ensure efficient distribution and accountability of materials
Working Conditions:
Full-time position
In office Monday–Friday from 7:00 am–4:00 pm with 1-hour lunch
Occasional weekends and holidays as required to meet deadlines
Works in office and field environments depending on assigned job tasks
May be required to perform work at alternate locations
Educational Requirements:
•High School Diploma or GED
Experience Requirements:
•Minimum of 3 years' experience in:
•Warehouse/yard housekeeping
•Processing requisitions and purchase orders
•Materials staging and distribution
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•Valid Driver’s License and insurability
•Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
•Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and adaptability
Preferred Requirements:
•Demonstrated leadership experience
•Procurement-specific experience
•Experience with service-related materials and supplies
•Basic knowledge of field service, assembly, and fabrication processes

Required Physical Activity:
•Repetitive sequences requiring sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, finger manipulation, climbing, feeling, seeing, hearing, and speaking.
•This position is classified as medium duty work – exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
•Physical demand requirements exceed those for light duty work. Medium duty involves walking or standing to a significant degree, or sitting but with pushing, pulling, or lifting objects of moderate weight.
