ABOUT US:

WHAT GERDAU HAS TO OFFER:

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:

- Position: General Labourer (referred to internally as "Non-Posted Entry")

- Department: All Departments

- Primary Function: To fill vacancies at the entry level positions

- Trains in the entry level positions in all Lines of Progression.

- Assists in all Lines of Progression within the department as required.

- Keeps work area clean.

- Observes all safety rules.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

- Ability to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts (days & nights)

- Must have a high school diploma/GED

- Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively

- Must have good attendance and work ethic

- Must be physically able to perform in a labour intensive environment

- Must have 1 - 3 years of Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing

- All successful candidates must pass a post-offer medical and ergonomic assessment.
