General Laborer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks related to production, assembly, and maintenance within the facility. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Duties

- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.

- Assemble, drill, and label fiberglass utility poles.

- Assist in moving poles within the Granite City location in preparation of fabrication.

- Assist in taking physical inventories of materials and poles.

- Able to work outside in various types of weather.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Experience

- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.

- Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.

- Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.

- Ability to operate power tools

- Mechanically inclined with ability to read drawing specifications

- Self-motivated and ability to work independently

- Detail oriented for precision in tasks

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
