: GE ADMS Deployment Engineer

We are seeking a GE ADMS Deployment Engineer to support the implementation and operational deployment of GE’s Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) for an electric utility client. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in system deployment automation, Kubernetes container orchestration, and configuration management in large-scale production environments. The Deployment Engineer will ensure reliable and repeatable deployment processes across development, test, QA, training, and production environments, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and operational readiness.
• Plan, execute, and support deployment of GE ADMS components across multiple environments (DEV, QA, DOTS, PROD).
• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or similar CI/CD technologies.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s) within customer or vendor cloud/on-prem environments.
• Support environment configuration, system integration, and release packaging activities.
• Collaborate with GE technical teams to align deployment strategies with platform standards and product updates.
• Establish and maintain configuration management baselines for ADMS, with a focus on the OMS module. • Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide root cause analysis to drive resolution.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and standard operating procedures related to deployment and configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience deploying or supporting GE ADMS or similar DMS/SCADA systems.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Solid understanding of networking, Linux systems, and virtualization or container technologies (Docker).
• Experience deploying GE Advanced Distribution Management System or similar
• Knowledge of NERC CIP standards and secure deployment practices.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments supporting mission-critical applications.
