Gas Technician

Job Description: The starting pay is $21.00/hr. for new technicians up to $27.00/hr. for those with substantial prior experience. A dditional $5.00/hr. for personal vehicle use/expenses, after training. Must have a reliable, insured vehicle for daily use on the job. Responsible for repairing paint coatings on affected pipes Responsible for checking gas meters for leaks and corrosion. This includes visual inspection and ensuring all required paperwork/data are completed Report to the respective work area on time at the start of each shift Responsible for identifying any abnormal operating conditions on-site Accurately filling out all forms associated with the inspection visit (form may be electronic or paper) As we look to continue leading the industry in quality and safety, we need people to join our team who are problem solvers, confident, take pride in public safety, and are comfortable in a fast-paced, exciting work environment.
