Overview
A natural gas transmission and distribution advisor role as part of the Global Services, reporting to the North America Midstream Delivery Lead. You will leverage deep operational experience to scope, implement, and advise on best-practice transmission and distribution scheduling solutions for Interstate, Intrastate and LDC customers using our Pipeline Transmission (QPTM) platform.
Responsibilities
•Project Delivery: Work both independently and as part of project teams to achieve overall objectives, with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term success.
•Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops and discovery sessions with prospective and existing customers to capture business requirements around gas nomination, scheduling, imbalance management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
•Solution Definition: Collaborate with solution architects to define Statements of Work (SOWs), project timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
•Best-Practice Guidance: Advise customers on industry-standard scheduling workflows (Interstate, Intrastate, LDC), tariff structures, capacity nomination optimization, and nomination validation rules.
•Platform Configuration: Handle end-to-end QPTM application configuration—including nomination cycles, types of service, capacity tracking and electronic flow measurement—to ensure alignment with contract and tariff requirements.
•Custom Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver tailored training programs addressing both standard and advanced QPTM functionality; empower customer teams to self-serve where possible.
•Troubleshooting & Tuning: Diagnose and resolve configuration issues uncovered during system verification or user acceptance testing (e.g., nomination rejection reasons, capacity constraints, imbalance calculations); optimize performance of scheduling services.
•UAT Support: Assist clients during user acceptance testing by reviewing test plans, developing test cases mapped to business processes, evaluating results, and resolving failures or discrepancies.
•Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the liaison between Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Cloud Operations, and Support to uphold customer commitments and ensure seamless delivery.
•Thought Leadership & Mentorship: Provide subject-matter mentorship to Professional Services colleagues; contribute to best-practice documentation, training materials, and product feedback loops.

Requirements
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
•Experience: Familiarity with EBB and EDI standards, Nominations 1.0/2.0, and industry consortiums (e.g., NAESB).
•Experience: Exposure to related Quorum solutions (e.g., FLOWCAL, TIPS).
•Industry Expertise: 10+ years’ hands-on experience in natural gas scheduling or equivalent roles within Transmission (Interstate/Intrastate) and/or LDC operations.
•Product Experience: Proven track record configuring and implementing gas scheduling software; direct experience with QPTM is strongly preferred.
•Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of nomination cycles, capacity scheduling, imbalance calculations, tariff compliance, and EBB and EDI integrations.
•Consultative Skills: Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
•Project Management: Ability to juggle priorities across multiple engagements, manage scope, and escalate risks appropriately.
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable leading customer-facing discussions (requirements workshops, status reviews, training sessions).
•Teamwork: Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
•Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for onsite workshops, training, and go-lives.
