­Project Description Xcel Energy is seeking candidates to support Gas Distribution Operations in Boulder, CO. The paid internship provides an opportunity to showcase your abilities in the Boulder Gas Distribution Service Center. The program provides practical work experience to develop your existing skillset, present to senior leadership, and collaborate with key internal stakeholders. Each intern will be relied upon to play a role in achieving department objectives and goals. The program will allow you to apply what you’ve learned in school and further enhance your knowledge through hands-on training and provide opportunities to network and learn with other interns across PSCO Gas Operations.

Typical intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Contribute to FERC, SEC, governmental and internal reporting.

- Learn to utilize SAP, our Enterprise Resource Planning system.

- Assist with updates, data maintenance, and analysis.

- Assist with SOX control reporting.

This position is for

June 2026.

These positions may have the possibility to extend beyond the internship’s initial term based on the candidate’s successful performance and Xcel’s business needs.

Minimum Requirements

- Current student, Junior status (as of May 2026) or higher.

- Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Business Administration or related.

- Able to commute to the service center in Boulder, CO.

- Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the spring (up to 20 hours a week).

Preferred Qualifications

- 3.0 GPA (out of a 4.0 scale) or higher

- Completed 2 years of undergraduate coursework

- Experience or Proficiency with data analytics tools.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $17.80 to $23.90 per hour

This position is eligible for the following benefits: Pension, 401(k) plan, Paid time off (PTO), Holidays
