This full time Superintendent position is based at CCI's Lake Charles office and has direct day-to-day supervisory responsibility of field supervisors (foremen) and personnel assigned to special projects. The Project Superintendent must possess extensive industrial field experience, strong planning, estimating, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage the safe and timely execution of tasks, ensuring that qualified, trained and capable personnel are mobilized in an organized and timely manner on a 24/7 basis. A strong safety ethic is essential for this position to ensure the safety and productivity of personnel, and the individual will be responsible for reviewing and reinforcing adherence to procedures with all personnel.

•Possess functional and operational expertise with industrial facilities maintenance, upgrade and/or repair to facilitate development of estimates, schedules, and work plans that define the tasks and resources necessary.
•Possess in-depth functional and business expertise in managing projects including abatement, blasting and coating, scaffolding, insulation, welding, electrical services, spill response, safety and maintenance and repair projects relative to oil and gas facilities.
•Requires a focus on leadership and utilization of information, company and client procedures and work methods.
•Draft and refine a multitude of readiness plans, JHAs, schedules, and submittals for customer review and approval.
•Actively coordinate and supervise projects ensuring that all tasks are accomplished in conformance with HSE policies, procedures and all contractual requirements are completed timely.
•Be a safety leader, set a strong example for our core values of Safety, Integrity, and Trust. Perform all tasks according to company and client procedures and safety guidelines, and participate in safety meetings.
•Facilitate a safe work culture and ensure that CCI Industrial crew members apply the standards for safe working conditions and are fit for work each day.
•Identify labor, material, and equipment requirements to ensure contractual and company commitments are met.
•Manage multiple operations within a region through foremen, leads and diverse work crews
•Represent the company during meetings, and walk-downs as point of contact for customer responses.
•Provide and promote development opportunities for team members with the goal of increasing competency, understanding and accountability for work performance. Lead training and development initiatives for employees.
•Generate and provide accurate and complete information for use by accounting, procurement, and HSE.
•Comply with all guidelines, policies and procedures established by CCI Industrial while on shift, on call, or attending training; possess knowledge of DOT pipeline and EPA secondary containment regulations
•Coordinate with the facility owner/operator and other contractors and project teams on the work site, maintain an open and cooperative relationship at all times; particularly during the high stress, high activity levels.
•Coordinate, schedule and manage all subcontractors and vendors as may be required for programs and projects.
•Communicate effectively and keep the CCI Operations Manager informed of productivity, and production, personnel, safety, scheduling and equipment issues
Other Responsibilities:
•Exhibit commitment to company Quality objectives through full utilization of Quality Management Systems, and by evaluating project related processes and making necessary changes, by using client inputs to make improvements, and meeting and exceeding stakeholder and customer expectations
•Maintain all relevant documentation, records and certifications; and develop operational, production and program reports including project close-out reports for clients
•Identify, evaluate and develop potential business opportunities within CCI Industrial Services, LLC (“CCI Industrial”) core competencies
•Perform other duties as assigned by the CCI Operations Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
+ Maintain compliance with the required HSE Training.
+ Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
+ Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
+ Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
+ Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
+ Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
+ Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
+ Promote and participate in Safety Programs.

•Ability to read blueprints, engineers' drawings, and architectural renderings of facility, plant and equipment
•Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
•Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that include good listening, and the ability to provide clear direction and effective feedback
•Good working knowledge of tools used in scope of work
•Possess a demonstrable ability to work with facility owners, operators, engineers, and asset reliability and maintenance leaders to build working relationships that lead to successful contract fulfillment and continuation
Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
•Must be 18 years of age or older
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record
•Five years' experience at the field supervisor level in the oil and gas industry; OR Five years' project management in remote locations managing personnel, logistics, and contract compliance.
•Two years' experience developing project estimates and planning the execution of remote projects.
•Proficiency with computer software including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•Technical writing skills sufficient for proposal narratives, work plan descriptions, and formal investigation documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
•4-year degree in Business Management or equivalent experience
•NACE II or higher and/or SSPC certifications
•CWI-Welder/Fitter Mechanical experience.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. This position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.

•HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
•VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
•RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurements will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
