We are seeking a skilled Fork Truck Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience in various repair This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all fork trucks are safe and reliable.

Duties

- Diagnose and repair including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

- Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.

- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues accurately.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair work.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.

- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for vehicle repairs or maintenance tasks.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fork truck repair.

- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and materials handling techniques.

- Proficient in operating various equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and skid steers..

- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety and heavy lifting practices.

- Experience in construction or heavy equipment operation is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
