You will work in the Forestry and Energy fields on forest development activities; support the preparation and implementation of plans for forestry activities and infrastructure projects; mentor staff; and build client capacity. You are well rounded with solid experience (5+ years) in some or all of the following:
- Field forestry: layout, cruising, waste & residue, silviculture
- Office forestry: permitting, survey submissions, and natural resource planning, with a good understanding of BC natural resource legislation and policy
- Operational (road, logging) supervision, timber valuation, contract negotiation and management
- Community wildfire planning, implementation, and management
- A quick and adaptive learner, experienced with GPS technology and competent in RoadEng™, GIS programs (e.g. ArcMap™/ ArcGISPro™), and Microsoft Office™ applications; experience with Phoenix™, ECAS, RESULTS, and WASTE is also valuable
- Physically fit and ready to lead in the field
- Open and positive with clients and government agencies
- Registered (or eligible to register) with BC Forest Professionals (RPF or RFT)

The salary range for this position is $30.00 – $39.00 per hour ($62,400 - $81,120 per annum) depending on qualifications and experience.
