Department: Production Reports to: General Manager Pay Grade: $38-$45/Hour
Foremen are experienced miners who manage and work alongside a team of employees at a single mine site. This leadership position supports and directs all heavy equipment and plant operation and maintenance, as well as mine site development tasks as assigned with safety as a top priority.

- Prioritize safety by actively monitoring the worksite, identifying potential hazards, and addressing safety issues immediately.
- Train, supervise, and mentor miners, helping them develop advanced skills in tasks such as:
- Safely operating and controlling heavy mobile equipment on site.
- Performing pre-shift checklists and preventative maintenance for heavy mobile equipment.
- Operating processing equipment, including belt conveyors, screens, and crushers, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Executing mine site construction, development, maintenance, grading, landscaping, and cleaning tasks.
- Maintain expertise in the above tasks, seamlessly transitioning between leadership responsibilities and hands-on work as needed to support the team and mine site operations.
- Continue to be a great neighbor to those in our community through dust and noise control solutions, and environmental compliance.

- At least 10 years’ industry experience operating plant and heavy mobile equipment

- Basic math, reading, and writing skills (English at minimum, Spanish is a plus)

Up to 100% of time spent in manufacturing environments around industrial equipment. Up to 100% of time spent driving & operating mobile equipment. Outdoor weather conditions require attention to clothing layers and staying hydrated depending on season.
