•Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the brand and “The Irving” customer experience standards.
•Greet customers including answering phones, provide clients with the highest level of customer service, demonstrated through a courteous demeanor, and outstanding service.
•Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or standardized instructions, following approved procedures.
•Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages as well as pre-prepared offerings.
•Clean, sanitize, and maintain food preparation and serving areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
•Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, refrigeration, and another kitchen equipment.
•Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
•Know and comply consistently with “The Irving” standards (portion sizes, cooking methods, quality), policies and procedures.
•Handle, store, and rotate all food products and supplies according to “The Irving” policies and procedures.
•Keep records of the quantities of food used and inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.
•Wash, mix, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.
•Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers, load/ unload dishwashing machines.
•Close the kitchen following the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assists others in closing the kitchen.
•Train and supervise new food workers if necessary.
•Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure service standards and efficient operations.
•Assist in keeping the maintenance of the store and stocking shelves as needed.
•Identify and suggest opportunities to improve store performance.
