Overview
Experienced only in sheet vinyl, welding and flash cove instrallations
Duties
•
Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood and tile.
•
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and restoring as necessary to ensure proper installation.
•
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for precise cutting and fitting of flooring materials.
•
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
•
Conduct fixture installations and drywall repairs as needed during flooring projects.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during the installation process.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as construction painting or maintenance person services.
•
Familiarity with the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
•
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and maintenance practices.
•
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications for accurate installations.
•
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform construction estimating when necessary.
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
