Apprentice Flooring Installer

Apprentices are new to the trade and eager to learn. They support crews by prepping materials, assisting with installs, and building foundational skills across flooring systems. With a coachable attitude and a focus on growth, Apprentices begin their career journey with clear opportunities for advancement. Core Responsibilities:

Assist in laying out and positioning flooring materials like vinyl, laminate, hardwood, carpet, and tile.* Help prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors before installation.* Learn how to properly cut materials to fit around corners, walls, and fixtures.* Understand and follow layout patterns or blueprints under supervision.* Apply adhesives or install nails/staples under direct guidance.* Resilient Sheet Flooring (Vinyl/Linoleum with Flash Cove): Learn how to handle resilient sheet flooring and flash cove installations under supervision, focusing on adhesive application and proper seam management.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $16.10 per hour
