- Supports the Plant Accounting Manager in managing budget and cost controls, financial analysis, and accounting procedures for the manufacturing facility. Committed to working in a team-oriented environment

- Support the month end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner.
- Responsible for all plant financial information and analysis.
- Primary point of contact with senior plant management for financial analysis and review.
- Prepare and analyze monthly expense analysis for both costs of goods sold and indirect expenses.
- Analyze any deviations from standard costs resulting in any over/under absorption at the manufacturing facility.
- Analyze and prepare labor and material analysis in coordination with the manufacturing team on a weekly basis.
- Ensure accurate product standards are developed and maintained.
- Review all systems and reports to ensure proper inventory control, and that movement and counts of inventory are accurately reflected in the financial records.
- Complete and maintain analysis for slow moving and obsolete inventory for inventory reserves
- Assist with the physical inventory, audit and summarize results.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to management.
- Support analytical needs including project analysis and variance reporting.
- Prepare monthly analysis of budget vs actual results, including production levels
- Perform monthly variance analysis to standard costs
- Support financial audits
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor

- Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited university, plus 3-5 years experience; or commensurate combination of education and experience in a related field.
- Must possess experience with and be able to demonstrate proficiency in the uses of Microsoft Word, Excel.
