Fleet Manager

Charps, headquartered in Clearbrook, MN, maintains a solid reputation as a preferred pipeline contractor in the energy industry and we are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. This position will be based in our Clearbrook MN office and will be responsible for the overall management of all company owned and rented equipment and vehicles.

Expectations

In this role you will be expected to oversee the planning, procurement, budgeting, maintenance and repairs of all company owned and rented vehicles and equipment. You will ensure that the right vehicles and equipment are available when needed and that they are safe, compliant and operating efficiently while optimizing costs and managing budgets in the department. The ability to track and analyze various metrics regarding the fleet will be imperative. In this role you will be required to communicate effectively with vendors, dealers, rental companies, company Foreman and Project Managers. Your knowledge of heavy equipment and understanding of maintenance requirements, costs of repairs and parts will be a vital asset. Your ability to effectively handle multiple requests and prioritize demands efficiently will be essential.
