Overview
The Fleet Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the operation and maintenance of a company’s fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles/equipment are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations. The Fleet Manager will manage vehicle acquisition, rental equipment, maintenance schedules, and driver performance, maintain DOT program, IFTA, ELD’s and GPS system , insurance audits, while optimizing fleet operations to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Duties
•Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle/heavy equipment maintenance and repairs.
•Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•Monitor vehicle usage and performance metrics to optimize efficiency.
•Coordinate vehicle acquisition, including purchasing or leasing vehicles as needed.
•Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
•Manage relationships with vendors and service providers for fleet-related services.
•Train and supervise drivers on safe driving practices and company policies.
•Conduct regular audits of fleet operations to identify areas for improvement.

Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
