Fire Protection Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to provide strategic oversight and technical guidance on fire safety for essential facilities. This role focuses on ensuring robust life safety measures, supporting compliance with safety standards, and contributing to emergency preparedness planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate and guide the implementation of fire protection systems.

- Perform on-site assessments to identify potential safety concerns.

- Advise construction teams on fire safety and life safety considerations.

- Respond to urgent situations as part of an on-call rotation.

- Provide expertise on applicable fire codes and regulatory standards.

- Support internal training and periodic system reviews.

- Assess fire suppression water supply and system readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related degree in the Engineering discipline with fire safety experience, or APS/RME-G license with significant expertise on Edwards or Monaco fire alarm systems.

- Working knowledge of IBC, NFPA, ICC, UFC, and OSHA requirements.

- PE license in Fire Protection Engineering.
