Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant / Financial Planning Analyst to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for both day-to-day accounting and long-term financial planning. The successful candidate will support accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive strategic business decisions.

Duties/Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by GAAP.* Perform general ledger reconciliations and month-end close activities.* Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.* Analyze financial results and provide explanations for variances and trend analysis.* Assist in cash flow forecasting and management.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for financial planning and reporting.* Monitor KPIs and prepare dashboards for management review.* Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.* Recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting and efficiency.* Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.*

Required Skills/Abilities

•

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling

•

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

•

Financial analysis and forecasting abilities, including budgeting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling

•

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy

•

Time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration with stakeholders

•

Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

•

Understanding of internal controls and audit readiness procedures

•

Team collaboration experience with cross-functional departments, such as operations and sales
