Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis (including an applicable internship), who is looking to grow their skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and help build out an FP&A function within a sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
•Collaborate with various departments to assist in analysis.
•Develop and maintain advanced models for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
•Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management.
•Assist in the preparation of presentations and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
•Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data used in analysis.
•Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.
•Help streamline financial processes and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•1-2 years of relevant experience (including internship) in financial analysis, accounting, or similar role.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, advanced formulas, and charting).
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
•Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, QuickBooks) is a plus.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience in a corporate accounting or finance department.
•Exposure to financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes.
•Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
