Description:
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this position is to support all ELS functions by analyzing financial information for both short- and long-term business decisions. This position will also collect financial and other business information to prepare standard and ad hoc reports, and assist with the planning, budgeting, and forecasting responsibilities.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
•Conduct analyses of financial and other business information to support business decisions as requested by all departments and functions, such as:
•Monthly rolling forecasts for overall business
•Pricing analysis and modeling in support making recommendations to Sales Department
•Headcount, compensation, bonus and variable compensation analysis and modeling to support HR
•COGS and manufacturing costs analysis
•Support all functions and departments in budget preparation
•Ability to craft from scratch analysis based on discussions/requests with senior management
•Leverage automated reporting tools such as Tableau and PowerBI in addition to excel, ppt, etc.
•Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety, and environmental policies
•Comply with all applicable U.S. laws and security regulations
•Other duties as required.
Requirements:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
•Knowledge/Skills: 2 years minimum experience
•Experience using a financial reporting system such as SAP, Oracle, MAS
•High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Willingness to learn additional tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL and other data analytics tools
•Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of time
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be able to sit for extend periods of time; a minimum of 2 hours.
•Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the office.
•Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds.
•Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
•Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, PC computers, facsimile machine, and photo copier.
•Must be able to work at a fast pace.
•Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives and reassign priorities.
•Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
•Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
•Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
•Must be able to drive an automobile.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered in an office environment located on-site, within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment may also include employee’s residence, customer sites including oil well sites, and meeting venues, extensive time off site while traveling or to other location as required.
