The Oceaneering Technologies (OTECH) Finance group of Oceaneering International is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Finance Projects Analyst to join our team. This role supports the finance team and project management team by tracking project performance, analyzing costs, and maintaining schedules. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has strong analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment
- Assist in preparing monthly internal and external reporting.
- Support Project Managers and project teams when looking at project profitability.
- Prepare required customer reports for assigned projects.
- Maintain open communication with direct manager and project staff regarding financial data and ensure project staff are aware of risks and opportunities.
- Development of program annual operating plans (AOP) and Monthly/Quarterly Forecasts.
- Prepare project close entries and make necessary adjustments to data entry errors.
- Support proposal development.
- Support variance analysis and reconciliations.
- Support Accounts Receivable collections.
- Review and monitor project funding and expenditures.
- Develop working knowledge of various government financial terminology, regulations, and clauses related to work assigned.
- Project life-cycle activities such as project setup/ maintenance, invoicing support, accruals, financial projections, cash flow management and month end close.
- Development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC)s on assigned projects.
- Support financial leads with respect to compliance, and implementation of and upholding organizational financial standards.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned inclusive of responsibilities outlined in the RASCI model related to your area of work.
- Travel to sites to understand the work being done as needed.
- Required to be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent relevant experience.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work successfully in a team environment.
- Work independently with oversight.
- Experience with CostPoint is preferred but not required.
- Experience with contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP) is preferred but not required.

Annualized pay rate for this position is $59,500. to $80,500.
