Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This is a unique role that includes being plugged into most functions throughout Kinetik. This position will also play a key role in creating corporate-level forecasts, preparing presentations (from internal to Board of Directors materials), managing project economics, assisting with M&A underwriting and due diligence, and analyzing company and general industry trends. This position will have a high degree of exposure to the Executive Leadership team at Kinetik. This individual is expected to be highly self-motivated, has an eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic, and wants to be a part of a team environment.
- Develop detailed models to create revenue and cash flow financial forecasts (both corporate and project-level forecasting)
- Prepare analysis on financial and operational results
- Prepare various presentations for the Board of Directors
- Generate project presentations and approval packages
- Research and analyze energy development activity in the Company’s focus areas
- Participate in Finance, Investor Relations, Business Development, Commercial and Operational meetings
- Work with the commercial team on analysis and review of potential business development opportunities
- Exposure to Treasury and Accounting-related functions
- Ad hoc tasks, analysis and projects when required
- All other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with emphasis on Finance, Economics, Accounting or related
- 1 to 2 years of investment banking, corporate finance, and/or business development experience in the energy industry, preferably focused in Midstream or Upstream
- Demonstrated aptitude and success in financial modeling and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with ability to quickly turnaround ad-hoc requests
- Will be working in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Occasional driving may be needed to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed
- Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
- Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 15 lbs. in a safe manner on a consistent basis
