Financial Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis (including an applicable internship), who is looking to grow their skills in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and help build out an FP&A function within a sales organization.

- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

- Collaborate with various departments to assist in analysis.

- Develop and maintain advanced models for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management.

- Assist in the preparation of presentations and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data used in analysis.

- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.

- Help streamline financial processes and identify areas for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 1-2 years of relevant experience (including internship) in financial analysis, accounting, or similar role.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, advanced formulas, and charting).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, QuickBooks) is a plus.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a corporate accounting or finance department.

- Exposure to financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes.

- Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
