Create financial models and provide monthly reports outlining key financial drivers and business trends. Perform variance analysis to assist commercial team in managing annual Initiation Systems sector and Corporate Account revenue. Maintain weekly communications with Business groups to remain up-to-speed with operations that may impact results and forecast. Prepare monthly reporting pack to support senior leadership to understand IS Commercial and Corporate Account teams. Participate and provide meaningful insight during monthly results meetings with business leaders and CFO. Work with the Finance Director to continuously utilize and develop dashboards in QlikView to improve transparency of the reporting. Support the annual budget process from commercial revenue to EBIT, and cash fixed costs. Support monthly forecasting, which involves cross-functional coordination. Streamline monthly forecast through the Planful system. Provide ad hoc deep dives as requested by the commercial group. Assist the finance director with business case modelling. Consistently seek out and implement process improvements, especially with reporting.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and 3 years of related finance or accounting experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and 1 year of related finance or accounting experience.
Of the required experience, must also have 1 year of experience utilizing Excel (including add-ins to support reporting) and PowerPoint to prepare monthly reporting materials and financial modelling as well as detailed financial analysis to support commercial stakeholders.
Of the required experience, must also have experience in the following:
- Use of SAP and Business Warehouse tools, specifically to analyze COPA, standard cost;
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to post monthly journals as required including accounting concepts such as transfer pricing, standard costing, BOM, and rebates; and
- Experience with assessing financial data and drawing insights for the other internal teams.
