Field Technician assistant

Field Tech Assistant (Temporary Position) – $25/hr

We are looking for a Field Tech Assistant to support our field techs for our water meter installation company across the Chicagoland area. This is a temporary position with steady weekly hours. No prior experience is required – we provide all necessary training.

Position Details:

- Pay: $25/hour

- Schedule: 32–40 hours per week

- Temporary role (with potential for extension)

- Work locations vary throughout the Chicagoland area (examples: Crystal Lake, Forest Park, and surrounding suburbs)

- Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities:

- Hang door hangers in assigned neighborhoods

- Assist field techs with basic troubleshooting and programming (training provided)

- Provide general support to field teams and managers as needed

Requirements:

- Dependable and detail-oriented

- Comfortable traveling to different job sites within the Chicagoland area

- Ability to work independently and follow directions

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must be able to pass a background check
