Field Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented field mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Most equipment is newer and generally speaking it will be light repairs and maintenance.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as an ohmmeter, and develop effective solutions.

- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.

- Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and parts used.

- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
