Job Description:

We are seeking a Fall Engineering Intern to join our team in Urbana, OH. The ideal candidate will be a current mechanical or chemical engineering student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced lab environment. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various engineering projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the set-up and operation of the carbon and oxygen analyzer

- Perform a Wet test of new tungsten carbide formulations

- Complete loading and running of a 300 kg ball mill

- Crushing, blending, and milling of desintered Carbide parts

- Assist with daily metallurgical lab operations

Qualifications:

- Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software

- Ability to work independently and take initiative
