Applies intermediate level knowledge of engineering principles and practices in diverse areas of assignment. Assists with planning of construction programs; selection of pipeline routes, material and equipment specifications for projects; and development and implementation of commercial strategies, new service offerings, or changes to current services or other tariff requirements.
- Apply intermediate-level engineering knowledge to natural gas facilities, including pipelines, metering systems, control valves, dehydration units, compressor stations, and large-scale amine treating plants.
- Evaluate pipeline systems using simulation models to assess transportation service requests, explore new market opportunities, optimize operations, and analyze alternatives during facility outages.
- Analyze daily pipeline operations through simulation tools and other resources to forecast performance, identify underutilized capacity, simulate operating conditions, and compare actual versus estimated deliveries.
- Develop, implement, and monitor daily operational plans to ensure efficient gas movement from receipt or storage points to customer delivery locations, meeting contractual obligations and maximizing system utilization.
- Prepare and communicate clear, concise technical reports and analysis summaries to cross-functional teams and business unit leaders.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments and stakeholders with minimal supervision.
- Identify and frame engineering or operational challenges and propose practical, data-driven solutions.
- Monitor system performance and support the development of short and long-term facility plans, including cost estimates.
- Contribute to the preparation and presentation of technical reports and project documentation.
- Assist in the development and tracking of project budgets.
- Support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives by participating in training and applying CI tools and methodologies to enhance work processes and deliverables.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical)
- 3 years of job-related experience.
- Experience with Synergi software a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee usually works in a business office or other appropriate location during hybrid days, with a moderate noise level. Occasionally, the job will require presence at a project site. While working at a project site, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including cold/hot, wet and/or humid conditions, uneven or steep terrain and may work near moving mechanical parts and/or machinery. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration (see physical requirements above). The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office but, may become loud at the project site.
