The Facility Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership and training for maintenance staff, ensures proper facility maintenance, and manages preventive maintenance programs. This role involves monitoring equipment, interacting with vendors, preparing budget estimates, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. The supervisor also oversees fleet maintenance and collects repair documentation for regulatory requirements.

- Thorough knowledge of maintenance management principles, facility equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance, regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Advanced knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance, procurement processes and budget management, and data entry into information systems.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with staff and documenting activities
- Organizational skills to prioritize daily tasks and manage multiple work orders
- Technical skills for learning and understanding mechanical processes
- Ability to engage in continuous learning and adapt to new processes and technologies
- Coursework in mechanical field, specific or general, including instrumentation.
- Completion of operator training course and/or sewer system operation courses desirable or ability to complete.
- Or the equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
