Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years + experience with MIG welding. Experience with TIG welding is a plus.
Responsibilities:
•Work under the direction of the Assembly Shop Manager and Mechanical Engineer
•Interface with Engineering and Panel Shop as required
•Perform welding duties using with MIG and TIG equipment
•Weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions
•Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products
•Fabricate parts using a vertical mill and lathe
•Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, plasma cutter and other hand tools related to the jobs needs
•Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications
•Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders
•Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position
•Inspect tools and equipment to maintain functionality and safety and notify supervisor/lead or maintenance department for repairs
•Perform a variety of complicated tasks, as required
•Provide accurate weekly documentation of time per project and task

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
