Experienced Valve Technician

We’re looking for experienced Valve Technicians to join our Red Deer operations. This is a full-time role focused on servicing and maintaining API 6A Valves in our shop and on customer sites. From valve greasing, troubleshooting to full rebuilds and testing, you'll play a key role in delivering responsive, high-quality service to oilfield clients across Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

· Field greasing and maintenance of API 6A wellhead and frac valves

· Disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of gate valves, ball valves, chokes, and other pressure control equipment

· Operate and maintain pressure control equipment (e.g., hydro pumps, grease guns)

· Organize and maintain work area, including equipment and storage

· Participate in the rotational on-call schedule

· Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

· Assist with shop housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work environment

· Accurately complete service reports and communicate with dispatch and clients

· Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of field experience in the valve industry (API 6A strongly preferred)

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)

· H2S Alive, First Aid, and CSO (or willingness to obtain)

· ASNT Level II (VT, MT, UT, PT) experience is an asset

· Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently in the field

· Availability for overtime, on-call rotation, and travel throughout Alberta

· Excellent communication and strong commitment to safety
