Job Summary:
Our expanding company within the industrial valves, instrumentation, and service industry is looking for a Valve Technician to install and repair industrial valves.
Pay:
$22 to $35 per hour depending on skills and experience in the field.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Know the functionality and details of industrial valves, including Safety Valves, Central Valves, Inline Valves, and Ball valves.
•
Reach out to your direct supervisor for questions and needed expertise.
•
Meet goals set by your direct supervisor.
•
Always maintain professionalism.
•
Maintains quality of work, with extremely minimal errors.
•
Thrives on providing incredible customer service experience.
•
Enjoy face-to-face interactions with all customers.
•
Drive to site location for repairs and installation.
•
Attend company required training(s).
•
Remains optimistic, highly motivated, and success driven.
•
Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
•
Must have a legal driver’s license, as well as maintain a clean driving record meeting both the company’s and DOT’s standards.
•
Work overtime when required.
Job Status and Work Schedule:
•
FLSA status is Non-Exempt.
•
Workdays are Monday through Friday and weekends as needed. 8 hour shift standard.
•
Full time. Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Work Location and Travel Requirements:
•
On site in New Castle, PA
•
Must be willing to travel to work locations.
•
Overnight travel 30-60 days a year

Job Requirements:
•
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
•
Experience: 2 years or more Mechanical Knowledge (Required).
•
Must be mechanically inclined. Above average mechanical aptitude is a plus.
•
Willing to learn a specialty craft working in the valve industry.
•
Knowledge of relief valves, control valves, and other inline valves is a plus.
•
Machining and welding capabilities are a plus.
•
Strong communication skills.
•
Must be able to comprehend the company’s and instruments service processes.
•
Able to lift 50lbs.
•
Must be able to safely operate a vehicle.
•
Be able to pass a background and drug test.
