Underground Move Crew (Owl Shift)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Must comply with Company and mine policies regarding Absenteeism, Personal Conduct, and Harassment as well as all policies, standards and expectations.

- Must comply with regulatory agencies including MSHA and the state of WV.

- Must ensure that body mechanics, equipment, and tools are utilized in a safe and responsible manner.

- Assist in moving the section which primarily involves installing/retrieving mine conveyor belt, associated structure and devices, and moving up/pulling back the section main electrical power distribution center, battery chargers and associated electrical cables.

- Other duties/responsibilities will be required at the discretion of management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Must be 18 years of age

- WV Underground Experienced Miner Certification Required

- Underground Coal Mining Move Crew Experience

- Record of good work attendance and punctuality

- Must be able to work as scheduled and assigned

- Must be able to work safely and effectively as a part of a team.

- Must be able to perform heavy work as defined by the Dictionary of Occupational Titles which may include but not limited to lift, carry, pull/push, climb, shovel, walk, or pry. *Physical demands of the job are subject to change based on industry demands

- Must be able to work on/near moving equipment as required by job.

- Must be able to understand and grasp mining concepts and safety strategies.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
